Since the beginning of April 2009 the Ontario Government has required that all desktop computers, portable computers, monitors, computer peripherals, televisions and various printing devices be diverted from landfill sites and instead be offered for reuse, refurbishment or recycling. The policies in Ontario regarding proper disposal of expired technological waste are similar to those found in Nova Scotia, BC, Alberta and other Canadian provinces and regardless of where in Canada your company is, we will ensure we follow the guidelines set about by your provincial government.
In order to comply with the WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Regulation, Cycom Canada Corporation has established strategic partnerships with industry leaders in the GTA and across Canada to collect your outdated electronic equipment you are no longer using so that it may be disposed of properly. We will also give you a certificate of destruction for your records. We take our interest in promoting green technology further though. It is essential to us that we work with you to raise our collective awareness about the benfits from ecologcially conscientious disposal of e-waste. We are also committed to educating you about which IT Solutions are the most environmentally responsible and collaborate with you on establishing a plan for the long-term cost savings that come from "going green."
